Pot Users Less Likely to Take Painkiller

“Marijuana and hydrocodone are two of the most widely used and abused drugs in the U.S. But according to a new study by one of the nation’s largest drug screening companies, chronic pain patients who are prescribed hydrocodone are less likely to take the painkiller if they are using marijuana.”

  1. I can say for sure that I wouldn’t take any pain pills if I could use Marijuana. I know how ADDICTIVE pain pills are and I hate having to depend on them just to get out of bed. I have heard people say that Marijuana can lead to harder drugs, that is so untrue. I know people now that live in States where Marijuana is legal and they are so happy and content. Just because I happen to live in a State that doesn’t believe in MM does that make me less of a person? We were all created equal and we all should have the right to decide for ourselves what medications we prefer to take.
